Children's Culture Day at Nordanå is a recurring and highly appreciated part of the offerings at Nordanå. This year, Skellefteå Museum is bringing two engaging activities to the festivities: rock paintings and the photo studio.
ROCK PAINTINGS
10am–3pm, located outdoors on the premises.
Here, you can try your hand at rock paintings using various techniques, experiment with painting using iron oxide and brushes made from birch twigs, or borrow our sidewalk chalk and paint directly on the ground! It's open for drop-ins and suitable for all ages. Please note: In case of rain, we'll relocate to the workshop space, "Köket," on the second floor of Skellefteå Museum.
Organized by Skellefteå Museum and Museum Anna Nordlander (MAN).
PHOTO STUDIO
10am–3pm, at the photo studio in the "Lilla Museet" on the second floor.
Try on vintage clothing and take a photo in the grand blue chair. Instructions on how to use our studio camera with your own mobile phone will be provided on site. This activity is open for drop-ins and is self-guided.
